One of the most important things you can do as a new actor or actress is absorb as much experience as you can and take advantage of every learning opportunity that comes your way. As you navigate into the acting industry and start your career, your readiness for roles and all of the experiences that you have had could be the difference between landing or losing the role.

\r\nTaking acting classes and studying different acting techniques is important, but it’s also important to gain experience. Audition for every community theater production, work for a student film project, attend monologue delivery workshops and perform as a guest with an improv group. Every chance you have to push yourself as an actor and to build your resume will help you be ready for whatever casting directors are looking for.\r\n\r\nEven as a young actor, you may find yourself wondering if a role is too small or thinking it just won’t help you get anywhere, but keep in mind that the things you have done speak volumes louder than the things you say you can do. Remember that every experience can put you one step closer to the big opportunity you’ve been dreaming of!\r\n\r\ndivline\r\n\r\nReady to learn more about modeling and acting?
