Meet Kelly S., the winner of the 2015 Seventeen Magazine and Barbizon Get Discovered Contest! At 15-years-old, Kelly has been a competitive dancer for most of her life and has been active in her community as a member of Circle of Friends as well as working with charity events for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and the Greater Southlake Women’s Society Charity.

What song is the song you can’t stop repeating on your iPod right now?
Bruno Mars Uptown Funk is what I am listening to a lot these days.
What are your fave stores to shop at?
I like Altar’d State or Francesca’s.
What do you want to do after graduating high school?
After graduation, I either want to become an interior designer (not a decorator because, I want to design the cabinets and drawers) or a real estate agent.
What kind of dance do you compete in?
I perform to Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Pointe at competition.
What one thing do you absolutely have to see when you are in New York for the photo shoot with Seventeen Magazine?
Go see Wicked.
If you could meet any celebrity, who would you want to meet and what is one question you would ask them?
Ariana Grande and I would ask her who, if anyone, she patterned her singing style after.
What is your fave current style trend?
I like skinny jeans. Things with lace at the bottom. A girly tailored layed back look. I shop at Francesca’s and like their styles.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Once, we had a peacock.
If someone were to visit your hometown of Southlake, Texas, what would you tell them they have to do during their visit?
Shop in Southlake Town Center.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things with you, what would you take?
A Swiss army knife, water purifier, and a fishing pole. On an island, there is water that needs to be made drinkable and fish to eat. I would need something to work/eat with, so I would want the knife that does it all.
